Jersey Devil Surf has top brands, such as Billabong, Hurley and Volcom, from high end to mid-range. We carry surfboards and skate boards. We have top of the line swimwear from L*Space and Body Glove. There are Jersey Devil Surfboards and Randazzo Surfboards for High Performance. My boards will be specialized for high-performance surfing, and the Jersey Devil brand will be for the average guy and beginners.

Sunglass brands include Oakley and Ray-Ban, and we have sandals from Olukai, Sanuk and Ipanema.

We offer jewelry from Cocobelle, sunblock, wetsuits, rash guards by BodyGlove and surfing accessories, such as leashes and bags.

I was the only surfer from the Northeast ever to make it to the world tour, in 1996. I got a gold medal and an MVP award at the X-Games in 2004.

The Jersey Devil was my nickname on the surfing tour in the 1990s. That's how we came up with the concept to make Jersey Devil Surf a brand and not just a shop.

Entry: Last November, we heard the Margaritaville-themed restaurant, bar and casino expansion was coming to Resorts Casino Hotel, and we thought that would turn things around and make it a great location, a great opportunity.

After I got cancer and started my cancer foundation, I ended up beating it with the help of my brother Joe's stem cells. He pretty much saved my life. It's cool that we've ended up being partners in the store now. A small percentage of the proceeds from the shop will go to cancer charities.

We have a summer sweepstakes at Jersey Devil Surf in which you can win a custom Jersey Devil Surf or a Randazzo Industries surfboard and a Jersey Devil Surf wardrobe. You get information at www.jerseydevilsurf.com.

We offer surf lessons and rentals. We have the Jersey Devil Surf School on the beach.

The future: I hope by next year we can get the beach designated as a surfing beach for use all the day.
