The fifth edition of the area’s premier health and wellness event for seniors, sponsored by the Greater Atlantic City Chamber, is adjusting its name this year to reflect the inclusion of a wider range of active adults.
The Senior and Adult Expo, presented in partnership with Shore Medical Center, will be held Thursday at the co-sponsoring Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center in Margate.
“The event is targeted to the 50-plus adult who wants to gather information about living a healthy, active lifestyle,” Marg Mancuso, chief operating officer of the Katz JCC, said in a statement. “The event is not only informative but fun as well.”
Thousands of area residents will attend the lifestyle, health and active aging expo for baby boomers and seniors for free health screenings by Shore Medical Center, hundreds of vendors, a four-part speaker series, interactive fitness demonstrations and a live performance by Ms. Senior America.
The Milton & Betty Katz JCC and the Greater Atlantic City Chamber Senior & Adult Expo has become the largest active adult health and wellness exhibit in New Jersey, the sponsors said.
There will be interactive fitness demonstrations, complimentary light fare and more than a dozen free health screenings for blood pressure, blood glucose, vision and hearing and much more.
