The Greater Atlantic City Chamber will host the third annual DO Tourism/DO Business Forum, featuring an update from the Atlantic City Alliance, at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Sheraton Atlantic City.

ACA President Liza Cartmell will preview the 2014 strategy for the "Do Anything, Do Everything, Do AC" marketing and promotional campaign. The ACA will also announce new 2014 citywide events coming this year.

Chamber members and guests will see first-hand the ACA's spring and summer marketing campaign and learn about the research and key metrics that are driving the destination's tourism marketing strategies. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

The Somers Point Business Association breakfast meeting on Wednesday at Greate Bay Country Club will focus on appropriate use and management of social media.

Laura Descoli Link, an associate at Archer & Greiner P.C., of Haddonfield, will present "What Employers Must Know About Social Media and Discipline."

Business owners can learn how they can effectively and legally police employee social media use.

The presentation will include a background of the National Labor Relations Board, which has issued a number of decisions that have drastically limited the manner in which employers may respond to their employees' use of social media.

Link will give an overview of the key decisions in this area and offer tips to employers on how to appropriately manage and respond to employee social media use.
