The Margate Business Association will present its 12th annual Beer, Wine, Food and Auction from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Steve and Cookies by the Bay, 9700 Amherst Avenue in Margate.

Guests will sample craft beers and wines from around the country, accompanied by Atlantic City's Formica bread, cheeses from Julius Silvert of Philadelphia, chocolates by Jagielky's of Margate, and hors d'oeuvres by Steve and Cookies By the Bay.

A silent auction will offer a collection of items, including autographed Flyers merchandise, Phillies tickets, a trip to Mexico, gift cards, jewelry and art.

The celebrity host will be Diane Mitchell of the "Mike & Diane Morning Show" on 95.1 WAYV.

The event will benefit the Daniel and Maria Walters Scholarship Program and the Margate Business Association Kid's Fund. Each year the non-profit organization distributes funds for the financial needs of Margate students.

"This is a critical fundraiser for the residents of Margate, some of whom are in need of help with medical bills, clothing and food," Cookie Till, one of the event organizers, said in a statement.

Co-founders Evan Ubania, CEO, and Mathew Ray, of Philadelphia-based ChatterBlast Media, will present a program on business use of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest at the Tuesday luncheon meeting in Galloway Township of the Public Relations Council of Greater Atlantic City.

ChatterBlast Media describes itself is a team of media enthusiasts with backgrounds in business development, strategy, marketing, media/public relations and communications.
