I started my Ameriprise practice in 1996 and became a certified financial planner in 2005.
Stav Koutsfetsoulis is my full-time licensed paraplanner and has more than 10 years of financial planning experience.
We take a comprehensive approach to financial planning to help our clients work toward achieving their goals, which may include securing a comfortable retirement, educating their children or the management of their investment portfolio.
We offer a variety of product options for investors, including stocks, bonds and mutual funds; life, disability and long-term care insurance; annuities, retirement plans for individuals and educational savings accounts.
We also help clients manage their workplace and individual retirement plans, and we work with our retired clients to determine distribution strategies for drawing income from their investments.
We believe our approach to financial planning helps clients see their financial situation more objectively. We work within a process that tracks their goals and progress, which enables us to make short- and long-term adjustments based on changes in their personal lives or due to the economic environment.
Opportunities are out there, but everyone’s situation is different. People should sit down with their advisers, put a plan together and understand what’s best for their situations. That’s the biggest opportunity. It’s hard to get there if you don’t know where you’re going.
Staying on top of changes in tax law and the economic environment is challenging. Things are changing a lot more quickly than when I first started in the business.
Recently, I was named a Five Star Wealth Advisor in New Jersey Monthly.
Future plans: There’s a possibility that as my practice grows, I might be adding some staff in the future.
