gets new director

Cape Regional Medical Center has appointed Denise McGinly director of Cardiac and Respiratory Services.

Prior to McGinly's appointment at Cape Regional Medical Center, she was the clinical educator/assistant manager in the Respiratory Therapy Department at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

McGinly earned her certification in respiratory therapy from James Martin School for Respiratory Care. She holds an associate degree in respiratory care and a bachelor's degree in healthcare management from California College for Health Sciences.

Glenn Insurance CEO

named 'Citizen of Year'

Tim Glenn, president and owner of Glenn Insurance Inc. and a lifelong resident of Linwood, was named "2009 Citizen of the Year" at Linwood's Memorial Day ceremonies.

Glenn was born in Atlantic City and grew up in Linwood. He graduated Colgate University, joined Glenn Insurance in 1987 and was named president in 2001. He became sole owner in 2005. He is the fourth generation to run the family-owned company.

Glenn is a board member of the AtlantiCare Foundation, the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce, and The 1st Tee of Greater Atlantic City. He has served as a member of the Superintendent's Advisory Board for the Linwood School District for the past two years. He is a former board member of Boardwalk Bank and volunteers his time for numerous charitable organizations. For 50 years, Glenn Insurance has sponsored a Linwood Little League baseball team, and Glenn is a soccer coach, continuing the Glenn tradition of giving back to the community.

Glenn lives in Linwood with his wife, Kim, and children, Kelly, Melissa and Tommy.

Shore Memorial extends

privileges to 3 doctors

Three physicians have joined Shore Memorial Hospital staff:

Wael Kouli, M.D., has joined with privileges in general surgery. Kouli received his medical degree from University of Aleppo in Syria in 1996. He is board-certified in general surgery, and he practices at Trocki Surgery Center in Northfield.

Teresa Pirri McGrath, D.O., has joined with privileges in pediatrics. McGrath received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. McGrath is in practice with Rainbow Pediatrics in Dennis Township and Egg Harbor Township.

Henry L. Souto, D.O., has joined with privileges in emergency medicine. Souto received his bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences at St John's University College of Pharmacy in Queens, N.Y., in 1990 and his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1994. Board-certified in emergency medicine, Souto will practice in Shore Memorial's Emergency Department.
