A British online gambling operator that is teaming up with Trump Plaza to offer Internet gambling has launched a marketing campaign targeting New Jersey commuters.
Betfair will offer online gambling through a partnership with Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino when Internet gambling launches on Nov. 26. The partnership had been the subject of speculation for months, but was confirmed Wednesday through a statement issued by the British firm. Trump Plaza received an Internet gambling permit earlier this month.
Digital advertisements have already launched at ferry terminals in Hoboken, Hudson County, targeting commuters. The marketing campaign directs customers to visit LetsPlayNJ.com, where they can get more information about online gambling ahead of the state's launch.
Betfair has also launched Twitter and Facebook profiles where it's hosting sweepstakes and games ahead of the launch.
