Wawa is launching a spring hiring campaign to fill more than 5,000 full-time and part-time customer service and management positions across the company’s 750 stores.

In addition to the hiring campaign, some Wawa stores will be hosting Wawa Career Wednesdays.

Wawa has many locations in South Jersey. The company is constructing a combination gas station and convenience store on Route 30 in Galloway Township that is expected to open this spring.(tncms-asset)78a10c8a-0a7a-11e7-aa7a-00163ec2aa77(/tncms-asset)

The company, which has about 27,000 employees, is the 36th largest private company in the U.S. and brought in nearly $8.9 billion in revenue in 2015, according to Forbes.

Wawa said the open house-style events will take place March 29 through April 19 and will give potential applicants the opportunity to have a brief first interview. Employment applications can be submitted online, as well as filled out at the events.

Dave Filano, manager of talent acquisition, said in a statement the stores are looking for employees during the summer and those interested in careers.

Wawa has stores in six states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, Maryland and Virginia.
