This class is for the painter with some experience painting in watercolor who has completed the beginner workshop. This will be a more independent learning experience. Learn new techniques and practice some of the old ones. We will critique our work at the end of each class. This class will move a bit faster and at a more independent pace.
Attendees will need to bring the following supplies: paint colors in burnt sienna, permanent rose, ultramarine blue, and aureolin or grumbacher yellow; brushes in #8 round, #12 round, #1 rigger or liner, and a large flat for washes; 140 lb. paper; drawing paper; tracing paper tablet; pencil; palette; water container; paper towels; masking tape; board or foam core; and a kneaded eraser.
Sue has been an artist in South Jersey for many years. She teaches at the Ocean City Arts Center and the Ocean City Fine Arts League. Rau shows her work at the OCAC, the OCFAL, the Riverfront Renaissance Arts Center, the Hammonton Arts Center, and now has a studio at The Consortium on High Street in Millville.
Class size is limited; therefore, registration and a valid library card are needed to attend. Registration opens on Monday, April 17th at 9:00 a.m.
