During the 2016-2017 year, the Great Books Reading and Discussion Group will be exploring Counterparts, a collection of contradicting short stories. Through the readings we explore themes central to the human condition, such as art, war, love, and death.

Katherine Givens will complete her Master's in Library Sciences in June 2017 through Drexel University, while having previously graduated with her Bachelor's in History from Stockton University. She also works for the Cape May County Library system, and she has been the moderator for the Great Books Club for quite some time. Previously, she worked at the Cape May County Historical Museum and Atlantic Cape Community College's library at the Court House branch. She has always loved libraries and literature, even partaking in writing and publishing fiction and poetry in her spare time. She worked on a Distinguished Student Fellowship through Stockton University on the legitimacy of romance novels, and she is always looking for the next thing to read. Come join her at the Great Books Club meetings and discover something great!
