For many Stockton students, Hellenic Studies scholarships have provided a first opportunity to study abroad. Students, upon returning, unanimously express the benefits of study in Greece, Turkey and Cyprus.
Cyprus is the birthplace of the goddess of love, Aphrodite (Venus) and there is archaeological evidence that it has been growing vines and producing wine for several millennia.
