MARGATE — Anthony Imperial enjoys any chance he gets to step outside on his deck and look out on his unobstructed view of the bay.

And at night, Imperial said, the lights coming from Black Horse Pike over in Egg Harbor Township, also at a safe distance, are beautiful to look at.

“I believe our view of the bay is one of the nicest in Margate,” Imperial added.

The four-level property, located at 7801 Bayshore Dr., features five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms and brand new renovations throughout the home.

The two-story entry features heated porcelain tile and hardwood floors as well as coffered ceilings, wainscoting, columns in specific spots and stylish trim work throughout.

The first floor dining room leads to a massive, gourmet kitchen that the cook in the family will love to call home. There is a wine fridge, refrigerated drawers, paneled and built-in appliances (like a SubZero brand refrigerator and ice maker) as well as a six-burner gas stove.

There are two ovens, warming drawers, a steamer and farm sink: the perfect kitchen to serve large parties and not feel overwhelmed.

And even if you’re keeping it low-key and cooking a weekend lunch for the family, you can all enjoy the meal at a five-seat island right in the kitchen.

After lunch, you can check out the open living room with a built-in media center that also has a beautiful set of windows for natural light on the first floor.

It’s a property that, Imperial said, can suit multiple types of families.

“It could be for people who are retired and want to go out on the water, or people that are active with children. It’s a nice part of Margate,” Imperial said.

Whichever family this home suits, it offers plenty of privacy, with one floor dedicated completely to a master suite, Imperial said. The room has bamboo floors, walk-in closets, custom surround sound and a private deck overlooking the water. There is also a home office, seating area, a master bath with double sinks and large shower. And if you’d like to really relax, there’s a Jacuzzi there for you to lounge in.

Upstairs is a laundry room as well as four more bedrooms, with one room having its own covered deck. There’s also a bathroom for people to share. It’s a perfect floor for the kids or for relatives and friends to use during visits.

Downstairs is a two-car garage, another bathroom and laundry room and a large family room that leads to a covered patio, which features an outdoor TV (perfect to watch the Eagles game and cook out.) But the best part of the backyard is the in-ground pool and spa.

Out by the bay, the dock provides room for a 30-foot boat.

“Between the pool and sunsets, this one is a dream come true,” said Paula Hartman, of the Hartman Home Team.

The listing price for the home is $2,999,000. For more information, contact Hartman at 609-487-7234 or email at redheadedrealtor@aol.com
