Harold Zimmerman and his wife Judy spent their summers out on their boat, sailing the Mullica River and Atlantic Ocean.

When the seasons changed, they spent weekend afternoons out back in their gazebo watching the leaves change colors.

And as spring came back around, they’d head out to their pond or river and fish until it got dark.

These were just a few activities the couple spent since owning their 1024 River Rd. home in Green Bank.

The property features four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms and takes up about two acres. The house also sits right against the Mullica River, with a 200-frontage view of the body of water.

There is a dock boat ramp that juts out to the river and plenty of space around the property to explore.

But both inside and out, the two-story property has been tastefully remodeled.

“The house has been totally updated with a new roof, windows, siding, heat and air,” said Sue Dunphey, realtor with Re/Max Atlantic. “There’s new oak hardwood flooring downstairs and a new kitchen and baths.”

Leading up to the home’s front door is a stone driveway with plenty of other gravel spaces for guests to park for parties or occasions.

The first floor features an open kitchen with granite countertops, high-end stainless appliances and a stone-tiled floor.

The kitchen faces a large living/dining area room in the back of the home. The living room has hardwood floors and features doors opening to a large back deck overlooking the backyard and river.

The dining area on the first floor features a beamed ceiling with a brick fireplace for cozy winter nights, and plenty of natural light.

The property is perfect for a family that enjoys the outdoors, providing privacy from neighbors.

“I’d say the property offers an unusual mix of privacy and natural splendor,” Zimmerman said. “You can’t see other houses and across the river is a state park. And while it is private, in the summer there is ample boat traffic [on the river].”

The home has a full basement with an inside and outside entrance.

The second floor has spacious bedrooms with both rug and hardwood flooring.

Zimmerman said the town of Green Bank is perfect for those looking for less hustle and bustle.

“It’s a very quaint, small town of about 300 people. It’s old fashioned and very charming,” he said.

The property is listed at $699,000.00. For more information, contact Sue Dunphey at greenbank@mindspring.com, or call her at 609-287-9587.
