B170003 Notice is hereby given that Bids for the Emergency Backup Well No. 3 Project will be received by Stockton University's Purchasing Department, 101 Vera King Farris Drive, Upper N Wing, Galloway, NJ 08205 on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bids will be accepted after this time. Project Description: To provide, complete, one (1) new approximately 350 gpm. potable water supply well into the Kirkwood-Cohansey formation, all permanent well pumping equipment, water treatment equipment, and instrumentations and controls for the University, All site work including site clearing, excavation and backfilling, installation of temporary soil erosion and sediment control measures, final grading, grade restoration, landscaping and site clean-up. Bid documents and project specifications, Addendums and all questions and answers are available once you login in to the University's website http://www.stockton.edu/purchasing on the Current Request for Proposals page or by faxing a request to (609) 626-3801. Bids shall be made on the bid forms provided, in the manner prescribed therein and submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the bid number B170003. A Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 10:30AM. at Building 70 Plant Management Building in Conference Room 1. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend Bidders must be classified with the State of New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction in Well Drilling (C102). All prime subcontractors must be DPMC classified also. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et. seq. The successful bidder is required to be registered with the New Jersey Division of Revenue in accordance with the New Jersey statute N.J.S.A. 52:32-44.
