Ensure that proper methods of infection control & sterilization are in place, & that all tech'l staff members are trained to work w/ infectious specimens. Reqs Master deg in Bus. Admin, Healthcare Admin or related, & Bach deg in Medical Technology or 1 of life sciences. Also reqs 2 yrs w/in the past 5 yrs in blood transfusion services, & MT certification from ASCP.
