DIRECTOR OF PLANNING Created in 1984, the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority ("CRDA") is a New Jersey state authority responsible for directing reinvestment funds from New Jersey casino licensees into meaningful, positive improvements and development initiatives within the City of Atlantic City. In February 2011, legislation was passed creating the Atlantic City Tourism District and granting oversight of the District to the CRDA. To assist the CRDA in its enhanced mission, the Authority is currently seeking a highly motivated planning professional to lead the urban planning process for the Atlantic City Tourism District. The successful candidate will have extensive, broad-range experience and a proven record of success in sustainable redevelopment projects within an urban environment. Bachelor's Degree in urban planning, architecture, engineering or a related field with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience and proficiency in Municipal Land Use Law is required.
