The Children's Home Society of New Jersey is currently seeking candidates for positions in Mays Landing: Temporary Adoption Summary Writer - assignment begins April 19 through Aug. 9, 2013 - 35 Hrs/Wk - The Writer will read case files of children to be adopted in the DCP&P sys. & compose Fam./Indiv. assessment reports in Word format. Bachelor's Degree in the social services or English required; a min.of 2-3 yrs proven exp. in a social service office environment pref. Hourly Rate: $14.17 Part-Time Adoption Expediter - 14 Hrs/Wk - The Expediter will collect and review background info from case files & write the reports & assessments needed to move an adoption case to consent ready status. A Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Social Services) & 5 yrs exp. working in a state or adoption agency req'd. Extensive familiarity with the laws, regulations, and practices governing children being adopted in the NJ child welfare sys. needed. As needed hours are typically 2 days/wk (14 Hours).
