An Atlantic City man was indicted Wednesday on charges of vehicular homicide in a fatal 2011 motor vehicle crash in Absecon.
Sundeep Sekhon, 35, was driving while drunk on Route 30 in Absecon on June 4, 2011 when he crashed into a utility pole, authorities said in a release from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. The crash killed Sekhon’s cousin Amarinder Sandhu, 31, of Roanoke, Va.
A grand jury indicted Sekhon of vehicular homicide on Wednesday. He is free on $150,000 bail. He also faces multiple traffic violations, including driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, speeding, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and improper display of plates.
