Absecon officials will discuss only one of the two plans to deal with failed age-restricted developments this week.

The Zoning Board will hear the plans for a variance that will allow AB Visions to construct 400 all-age apartments for market-rate and affordable-rate residents. The project, on Pitney Road, is the massive Visions at the Shore project, which was the subject of multiple days of testimony earlier this year.

City Council postponed from Thursday the public hearing on a proposed redeveloper's agreement between the city and Boardwalk Development and Design for the redevelopment of the Absecon Gardens project, on New Jersey Avenue.

The move was designed to allow newly elected City Council members to be sworn in, while accommodating Absecon residents who asked the hearing be postponed until after the holiday season, the city said in a release.

No new date has been set.
