Safe disposal day for prescription drugs
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 29, the Absecon Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration will give residents an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs, police said in a news release.
Bring medications for disposal to the Absecon EMS Building (VFW) at 457 White Horse Pike. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked, police said.
