Tilton Fitness has been a leader in the health and fitness industry in Atlantic County for more than 30 years. We have four locations: Mays Landing, Northfield, Galloway and Stafford Township in southern Ocean County. Tilton Fitness also partners with hospitals and health systems in Pennsylvania and central New Jersey to manage their fitness facilities.

We provide a full array of fitness programs and services, including personal and small-group training, group exercise classes and much more.

I work at the Galloway club, which recently celebrated its fourth anniversary.

Our club is a large, three-level facility that’s open 24 hours, seven days a week. Anytime that’s good for our members is good for us.

We have a 25-meter, three-lane swimming pool, and in our building we also have a medical day spa, a Bacharach Rehabilitation satellite office and a private dance studio.

Entry: I’ve been with the company two years. I started originally as the billing manager, and worked my way up to operations manager.

My role is to make sure the day-to-day operational details are in keeping with Tilton Fitness standards, from front desk operations, to maintenance issues, to housekeeping, juice bar operations, and keeping the equipment clean and working properly.

I also am involved with a variety of member issues. I enjoy the interaction with the members on a daily basis, seeing them achieve their health and fitness goals.

Career goals: I’d like one day to be the general manager in charge of one of our facilities. I’m learning more about the business every day, and I look forward to the opportunity to grow with the organization.

About me: I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach in the summer, playing golf and coaching baseball. I coached baseball at Holy Spirit High School for seven years and played baseball four years at Lynchburg College.
