Atlantic City's Bomb Squad removed a military ordnance from a home this evening.

Police were called to the 3000 block of Howard Avenue at about 6:40 p.m., Sgt. Monica McMenamin said. The ordnance was found in the garage.

Lt. Bud Brubaker and Sgt. Joe Falcons removed the approximately 24-inch explosive and cleared the scene by 9 p.m., according to the report.

It will be destroyed at a later time, McMenamin said.
