Four men, including three from Atlantic City, were arrested Wednesday after a joint investigation by the Atlantic City and Brigantine police departments.

As a result of the drug investigation, the Atlantic City SWAT team served a search warrant Wednesday night on the 500 block of Tennessee Avenue, Capt. Tim Friel said. Police seized cocaine along with a .22-caliber Ruger semiautomatic loaded with hollow-point ammunition.

Jihad Abdullah, 26, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Nasir Brown, 21, was charged with possession with intent to distribute and was also wanted on a warrant from the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office. Both men were jailed on $10,000 bail each.

Sultan Veney, 33, was arrested on numerous warrants out of Atlantic City, and Patrick Ruzzo, 40 of Tuckerton, was charged with drug possession.

The investigation was led by Brigantine Detectives Jack Glasser and Steve Ward, and Atlantic City Detectives Paul Petinga and Mike Ruzzo — who is not related to Patrick Ruzzo.
