An Atlantic City man was arrested Tuesday night and charged with murder in one of Sunday’s two homicides in the city.

Haneef Graves, 29, was arrested and charged with killing Corleone Hayes, 29, on Sunday night, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.

Graves was paroled September 2010 from a nearly two-year sentence for robbery, resisting arrest and assault. He also served four years for two counts of robbery and one count of simple assault and eight months for one count of drug distribution.

Hayes, of Atlantic City, was found shot to death on the 1300 block of Baltic Avenue.

Graves was arrested about 8:30 p.m. on the 100 block of North South Carolina Avenue after officers from multiple agencies served a warrant.

He is charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, aggravated assault with a firearm, possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon by a convicted person.

Members of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, the Atlantic City Police Department, the State Police, the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department and the Division of Criminal Justice participated in the search and arrest.
