Atlantic City murder suspect extradited from Texas

An Atlantic City murder suspect police tracked to Texas arrived back in Atlantic County will appear in court this afternoon.

David J. Williams, 48, is accused of killing Siddiqah Bryant, 23, who was found strangled inside a van parked on Arctic Avenue near the bus terminal May 17.

In July, authorities arrested Williams in Sinton, Texas, charging him with murder.

Family members have said Bryant knew Williams but did not have a relationship with him.

Williams arrived back in Atlantic County on Friday is being held in the jail on $1 million bail. 

He will hear a formal reading of the charges at 1:30 p.m. before Superior Court Judge Michael Donio.
