Atlantic City police arrested two men for alleged unlawful possession of a handgun Monday afternoon at the Liberty Apartments on the 1500 block of Baltic Avenue.
Police arrested two others for possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Officers received calls about two men entering the elevator, one with a handgun. They surrounded the building with uniformed officers. Police located a handgun and narcotic paraphernalia inside an apartment. Three men and a juvenile from the apartment were taken into custody.
Rumiejah Norwood, 18, of Atlantic City, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a CDS within public housing, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose.
Lillian Phillips, 63, of Atlantic City, was charged with possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
Jack Brown, 58, of Atlantic City, was charged with possession of narcotic paraphernalia and a warrant.
A 15-year-old was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose.
