A damaged concrete panel at a casino garage will be replaced today in Atlantic City.

Michigan Avenue remains blocked off outside the Caesar's Colosseum Garage after a vehicle apparently crashed into a concrete retaining wall on the fourth floor Thursday evening.

Concrete rubble lay on the roadway Thursday evening and a panel of the garage's fourth floor was visibly cracked.

A crane will be be brought in to repair the panel, said Dale Finch, director of the city's Inspecting and Licensing Department.

A city inspector visited the site earlier today, along with a Caesar's engineer, Finch said. The garage was deemed safe to continue operations while the fourth floor wall is being replaced.

The garage remained operational overnight, but Michigan Avenue- between Pacific and Atlantic Avenues- remained blocked.

It is unknown if there are any injuries.
