Atlantic City police are investigating a bone found in the city Wednesday afternoon.
Police Chief Ernest Jubilee said a bone fragment was found at South Carolina and Mediterranean avenues around 4 p.m. Wednesday. The department contacted the Atlantic County Medical Examiner’s Office, who will conduct tests to determine whether the bone is human, he said.
Jubilee said he expects to hear the results either Thursday or Friday.
