PLEASANTVILLE -- Police have released the identity of a man found dead outside the Pleasantville Wawa this morning.

Henry J. Williams, 42, of Galloway Township, was found unresponsive inside his car in the rear parking lot of Wawa at about 10:30 a.m., Capt. Rocky Melendez said.

Officers gained entry to the locked vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was taken to Shore Medical Center in Somers Point for an autopsy.

Williams had been reported missing to Galloway Township police for medical reasons, Melendez said.

Details of that condition were not released.

Earlier this morning, police blocked off a section of the rear parking lot, where a grayish-blue Mazda was partially covered in a white sheet.

"It gives you a funny feeling early in the morning to have to confront that," said bystander Lillian Hindman of Pleasantville.
