The FBI is searching for a man who allegedly robbed two banks in New York City this summer. The man, Sam Chatman, is known to frequent Atlantic City casinos and may be in the area, the FBI said in a news release.

Chatman, 54, is a light-skinned black male, between 5'7" and 5'9" tall and 200 pounds. The FBI said Chatman is believed to have several weapons and should be considered armed and dangerous.

"Chatman's behavior is not only increasingly violent, but completely erratic," Supervisory Special Agent Barbara Daly said in a news release.

Anyone in NJ with information about this or any other fugitive should contact the Newark Division of the FBI at 973-792-3000. There is a reward for any tip that breaks the case and tipsters may remain anonymous.
