Four Atlantic County residents were arrested and charged with drug possession after their car made an abrupt lane change on the New Jersey Turnpike near Carteret, State Police stopped them and reportedly found $51,000 in heroin.

NJ.com reported that the arrested were Ahmad Jones, 27, of Pleasantville; Brittany Campbell, 25, of Mays Landing; and Ashley Stevenson, 20, and Abdul Hassan, 33, of Atlantic City. All were charged with possession of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $200,000.

State Police did not respond to requests for comment Thursday evening.
