Lighthouse offers special discounts
Absecon Lighthouse, 31 S. Rhode Island Ave., Atlantic City, offers a special rate to climb the lighthouse for residents of Atlantic City. Parking, exhibits and Keeper’s Cottage museum are free. Admission to climb the 228 steps to the top is just $3 for Atlantic City residents with ID, and active military are always free.
Dogs on leashes are welcome on the two-acre lawn. The lighthouse is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays. Regular rates are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $4 for children ages 4 to 12.
