The Public Safety Career Awareness Expo will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 3 at the Pennsylvania Avenue School, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Atlantic

City.

The event is not a job fair. The expo is intended for high school and college students and young adults who are interested in learning more about a career in law enforcement.

Members of the following agencies will be available to discussion their organizations' missions and roles, and to answer questions: Atlantic City Police Department; Pleasantville Police Department; Rutgers University Police (Camden); Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office; Atlantic County Sheriff; N.J. State Police; N.J. Office of the Attorney General; N.J. Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness; N.J. State Association of Chiefs of Police; Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms; Drug Enforcement Administration; Federal Bureau of Investigation; Department of Homeland Security; U.S. Marshals Service; U.S. Secret Service; Transportation Security Administration.
