Nik Wallenda, the holder of seven Guinness World Records, Nik Wallenda will walk 1,300 feet on a wire over the Atlantic City beach today.

Starting point, at 3 p.m., will be the Atlantic Club Casino Hotel at Sovereign Avenue to the Tropicana Casino and Resort at Brighton Avenue.

The Press of Atlantic City will show the act live here on www.pressofac.com

Thousands of spectators are expected to fill the beach and Boardwalk to watch Wallenda’s free public stunt. The wire will be 100 feet in the air.

The best place to view the walk will be the beach between Boston and Brighton avenues. Parking is available at the Atlantic Club and the Tropicana, both of which have self-park garages and valet options.

It will be Wallenda’s second consecutive year performing a public stunt outside the Tropicana. Last April, he did the “Wheel of Death” stunt off the side of the casino. “The Wheel of Death” was a 50-foot steel frame with an 8-foot wheel on one end. The stunt had never been performed at that height.
