PLEASANTVILLE - Two apartments were destroyed after being engulfed in flames around noon today.
Police and fire personnel responded to the 900 block of Cresson Avenue to contain the fire. No injuries were reported.
Arrangements were being made for the occupants of the two dwellings for temporary housing and other needs, police said. Six families were displaced and received housing vouchers, according to the American Red Cross.
The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation. No other details were available.
