Police arrested a Pleasantville man Wednesday in connection with two robberies of casino parking garage attendants in Atlantic City.

David Roberts, 50, was arrested at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa after he was spotted gambling by security, police said in a release.

Roberts allegedly robbed the surface parking lot cashier in August. According to police, he demanded the money and gestured to his shirt as if he had a weapon.

He allegedly robbed the valet cashier at Resorts Hotel Casino on Monday. He allegedly motioned to his waistband as if he had a weapon.

Resorts security used surveillance footage to identify Roberts. They passed the information on to the police.

A third robbery, at the Golden Nugget in August, shows many similarities to the other two robberies, but Roberts has not yet been charged in that instance, according to police.

Roberts is charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, and two counts of possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose. He was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
