A Pleasantville man was arrested on drug and weapons charges Tuesday following an investigation by Atlantic City police.
Reed L. Bell, 24, was arrested at a home on Redwood Avenue in Pleasantville by members of Atlantic City’s SWAT Team and Special Investigations Section.
Inside, police recovered 9 grams of raw heroin with a street value of $3,000, a semiautomatic handgun and more than $16,000 believed to be proceeds from drug activity, Lt. James Sarkos said.
Bell was charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute, possession of a handgun, possession of a weapon during a drug offense, unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of marijuana.
The arrest was the result of a two-month investigation by Atlantic City Detective Paul Petinga. He was assisted by Pleasantville Detective Chris Taggart.
Bell was sent to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $20,000 full cash bail.
