Pleasantville teen arrested after hotel room raid allegedly finds $15,000 worth of heroin

A Pleasantville man was caught with as much as $15,000 worth of heroin Tuesday in a raid of his Egg Harbor Township hotel room, police said.

Prince Lawrence, 19, was arrested after Egg Harbor Township police executed a search warrant on his room at the Inn of the Dove on the Black Horse Pike as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Police said they found 2,700 packets of heroin, valued between $13,000 and $15,000, and $1,500 in cash. Lawrence was charged with possession of more than five ounces of heroin with intent to distribute.

Lawrence was taken to the Atlantic County jail where his bail was set at $150,000 cash.
