Pleasantville police are investigating a stabbing Wednesday at Washington Avenue and Main Street.
A man was stabbed during an apparent armed robbery, Capt. Rocky Melendez said. Michael Jerkins, of Atlantic City, suffered a puncture wound to the lower right back. It is not considered life-threatening.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male with a thin build and possibly a goatee wearing a dark coat.
No further information was immediately available.
