Resorts Casino Hotel will mark a milestone Friday in the construction of a beachfront attraction that serves as the centerpiece of its $35 million Margaritaville-themed expansion project.
The “topping off” celebration at 11 a.m. on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City will include the placement of the ceremonial last beam for the LandShark Bar & Grill. The bar and restaurant will stretch 200 feet over the beach on the former site of the old Steeplechase Pier.
LandShark Bar & Grill is a major part of the new dining, retail, entertainment and casino attractions opening this summer in a partnership between Resorts and singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett, owner of the Margaritaville brand.
