Good news for those who missed out on, or want more of, Atlantic City Restaurant Week.

About half of the participating restuarants have decided to dish out a second course, and will extend the deal for another week, beginning on Sunday, March 9.

Atlantic City Restaurant Week is a way for restaurants in Atlantic City and surrounding areas to showcase their delicious innovations, while providing diners with a high-end meal at a reasonable price. Participating restaurants offer three-course lunches priced at $15.14 per person and dinners at $33.14 (plus beverage, tax and gratuity).

In the past week, 83 of the area's restaurants participated in the program, and 38 of them, or about half, have decided the people deserve more.

A list of restaurants extending the deal, with their menus, will be posted on the Atlantic City Restaurant Week website, www.acrestaurantweek.com, starting Monday, March 10. Reservations to the restaurants are recommended.

Atlantic City Restaurant Week 2014 is sponsored by A.C. Central Reservations, Inc., Atlantic City Country Club, Borgata, Caesars Entertainment, Ed Hitzel Enterprises, Equity Communications, Greater Atlantic City Chamber, Interstate Outdoor Advertising, OpenTable.com, Press of Atlantic City, Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Tropicana Casino and Resort.
