Three men have been indicted in the killing of an Atlantic City man last summer.

Kahlil S. Blackwell, 20, of Mays Landing; Joshua M. Cross, 25, of Mays Landing; and Demarice G. Bennett, 25, of, Pleasantville, were indicted on first-degree charges of murder and conspiracy by an Atlantic County grand jury Tuesday, according to Atlantic County acting Prosecutor Jim McClain.

Authorities allege the suspects shot Sedrick Lindo, 25, of Massachusetts Avenue, multiple times while he was sitting on a porch at Carver Hall Apartments on North South Carolina Avenue on July 29.

Blackwell and Bennett are in state prison on unrelated charges. Cross is at the Atlantic County jail on $1 million cash bail.

McClain also said Myisha Wyatt, 21, of Atlantic City, was indicted on charges of fourth-degree false swearing for her role in the shooting.

In October, a 16-year-old Atlantic City male was arrested in connection with this incident. He remains Harborfields Juvenile Detention Facility in Egg Harbor City.
