Two men were arrested after they allegedly robbed an Atlantic City jitney shortly after midnight this morning.

Jermaine Johnson, 18, and Ricky Kelly, 20, both of Atlantic City, allegedly entered the jitney at Vermont and Pacific avenues, then assaulted the driver, Sgt. Monica McMenamin said.

The console of the jitney was damaged as the two males took the cup where the fares are kept, according to the report.

They were arrested by K-9 Officer Marinela Pali and charged with robbery. Their bail is set at $20,000 each.

Detective Jeff Braash is investigating.
