Browne named to dean’s list

Niya Browne, of Pleasantville, was named to the dean’s list at Salisbury University in Maryland for the spring 2012 semester.

Owens named to president’s list

Brittany Owens, of Atlantic City, was named to the president’s list at Berkeley College for the spring 2012 quarter. Students must achieve a grade-point average of 4 with at least 12 academic credits to qualify.

McQuade wins scholarship

Michael McQuade, of Brigantine, received a $500 scholarship recently from the Matthew Flannelly Passion for the Arts Scholarship, founded by the Margate Players.

Scholarship criteria required applicants to have participated as a Margate Players member in the previous three years, attend a college or specialty school for 2012-13 with a major or minor in the arts, and submit an essay. Rowan announces dean’s list

Students who earned a 3.45 grade-point average or above for the spring 2012 semester at Rowan University were named to the dean’s list. They included:
