Authorities are investigating the death of a woman found Friday morning on Uibel Avenue near Tilton Road in Egg Harbor Township.
Police had part of the road and a property blocked off by yellow crime scene tape Friday morning.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office had responded to the scene by Friday afternoon and confirmed that a dead woman was at the site. Township police Lt. Robert Gray said officers had responded to a medical call at the scene, but he refused to give more details.
The investigation is ongoing.
