Police arrested an Egg Harbor Township couple for possession of various drugs and a rifle Friday.
As a result of an investigation township Det. Mark Wagner and Sgt/ Michael Hughes and Det. Scott Hiltner seized between a half ounce and five ounces of cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a high powered hunting rifle.
Anthony Bell Jr., 28, and his wife Erica Bell, 33, were charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Anthony Bell was additionally charged with being in possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
Both suspects were transported to Atlantic County jail. Anthony Bell is held on $150,000 cash bail and Erica Bell is being held on $100,000 cash bail.
The Atlantic County Emergency Response Team, members of the Egg Harbor Township Police Department’s Patrol Division and K-9 Unit, assisted township detectives with the execution of the search warrant and arrest of the two suspects.
