Holocaust survivor shares her story

The Greate Egg Harbor Township Historical Society will host author and holocaust survivor Sonia Kaplan, whose life is documented in the book My Endless War and My Shattered Dreams and the movie Broken Silence.

The presentation will be held at the Egg Harbor Township Community Center at 5045 English Creek Ave. at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4. The event is free and open to the public, and will include a book signing, photo op and question and answer session.

PAL prepares for Winter Festival

Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic Leauge announces its second annual Winter Festival, which will be held Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in December starting Dec. 14 at the PAL complex at 2590 Ridge Ave. in Egg Harbor Township from 6 to 9 p.m. Attractions at the festival include an animated light show, crafts for kids, pictures and visits with Santa, s’mores, food, refreshments and more. There will be a live Nativity on Dec. 16 and 23.
