Lenten retreat focuses on end of life
The Ladies Philoptochos Society of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church invites members of the community to its annual Lenten retreat.

A demonstration will focus on the meaning and preparation of kolyva, a traditional memorial dish. A light lunch will be served. The event is free and will take place in the priest’s reception room at the church, 7004 Ridge Ave., from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 23.
The Ladies Philoptochos Society is a philanthropic group of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. The Egg Harbor Township Chapter meets monthly and participates in charitable works to fulfill their mission to assist those in need.
