Zumba fundraiser planned

The Egg Harbor Township High School Indoor Drum Line and Color Guard will hold a Zumba class fundraiser, "On The Road to Championships," to raise money to attend the championships in Wildwood at the end of April.

The event will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. April 25 in the school gymnasium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the cost is $10. To purchase tickets in advance, contact Nicole Barr at nbarr869@comcast.net

Distracted driving enforcement set

Egg Harbor Township Police officers will be cracking down on distracted drivers as part of a new national distracted driving enforcement campaign.

From April 1 through 21, the high visibility law enforcement initiative will target motorists who engage in behaviors such as talking on handheld cell phones and sending text messages while driving. The slogan of the national campaign is "UDrive. UText. UPay."

The campaign is taking place in April, National Distracted Driving Month.
