PAL summer camp accepting registration
Egg Harbor Township PAL is accepting registrations for its summer camp.
The camp, available for kids 3-13, includes age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, water play, zoo, museum and amusement park trips, sports, go-karts and more. The camp is $175 per week or $52 per day to eight hours a day, with a two-day minimum. Before- and after-care is also available. New for 2013 is the Extreme Summer Camp for ages 10 and up, featuring more activities.

Ready-to-Ride program open
Egg Harbor Township PAL is offering ongoing registrations for its Ready-to-Ride ATV, Dirt Bike and Go-Kart riding program.
The facility at 2590 Ridge Ave. is a 35-acre riding area with more than eight miles of maintained trails, go-kart track, beginner track and motocross track, open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Riders must have their own vehicles, and registration and safety orientation is required before use of the facility.

PAL Aviation Club taking members
Egg Harbor Township PAL is offering ongoing registration for its Aviation Club.
Members of the club explore the science of flight through classroom sessions, use of flight simulators, trips to air shows, museums, airports and other aviation related activities.
The club meets regularly Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m., with other activities taking place as opportunities arise. The club is open to young adults in ninth to 12th grades.

Coast Guard history talk set
Author and historian Kimball Baker will present a talk on U.S. Coast Guard acitvities in the Egg Harbor Township area in the late 19th and early 20th centuries at 7 p.m. June 7. The talk, which will be held at the Egg Harbor Township Community Center at 5045 English Creek Ave. is presented by the Greate Egg Harbor Township Historical Society.
